Duquesne Light Company Informs Customers About Energy Assistance Programs
Enrollment Now Open for All Grants, Programs
PITTSBURGH – As cold weather falls upon the region, Duquesne Light is prepared to assist low-income households with their electric bills through a variety of assistance programs that will ensure they remain connected to a safe, reliable source of electricity.
“Throughout the winter and colder months, Duquesne Light works to help all of our customers stay safe and warm in their homes,” said Michael Selep, Universal Services Manager at Duquesne Light. “The company has a variety of programs designed to help customers with utility issues.”
In addition, every year Duquesne Light completes a Cold Weather Survey to follow up with customers whose service is off. Customers are given information about options that may be available to help restore their electric service and assist them after they are reconnected.
