Step One: Start Service with DLC

To begin service with DLC, fill out the online form or download a PDF version. Note that you must be 18 years or older to apply for service.

Please notify us of your request for service at least three business days in advance by applying online or calling us at 412-393-7100.

Security Deposit:

By entering your Social Security Number, you agree to allow DLC to access your credit report to determine if a security deposit will be required before we provide electric service. If you elect not to provide a Social Security Number, a mailed application is required. You may submit your printable application and required documentation through applicationsforservice@duqlight.com, fax to 412-393-5881, or mail to the address listed on the application.

Please Note:

If the service is currently OFF at the location you are requesting new service, please ensure that the main breaker at this location is in the OFF position. For safety reasons, service will not be connected until the main breaker is in the OFF position. Please also make sure DLC has access to your meter. Once your order is completed, be sure to flip your main breaker back ON, or put the main fuse back IN.
