Safety

Safety is the No. 1 priority at Duquesne Light. It’s the integral part of our operations and a key measurement of our success. Every employee is expected to work safely above all to ensure we sustain a safe work environment for ourselves, our colleagues and our customers. Volunteerism & Community

Employees at Duquesne Light value our strong tradition of giving back to communities where we live and work — through volunteerism and funding. Whether it’s donating time or monetary support, we work with the community to power important neighborhood programs that are larger than light. We offer our team members opportunities to participate in a range of volunteer initiatives throughout the year.

Business Employee Resource Groups (BERGs) and Ally Circles

Business employee resource groups (BERGs) and ally circles are voluntary, employee-led groups that support and drive inclusion and engagement through education, networking, leadership, volunteerism and special initiatives. These groups are open to all employees, and they have sponsorship and participation from company leadership.
