Our internship program is designed to provide a mutually beneficial experience for students, and the departments they work with. We pride ourselves on giving students opportunities to collaborate with our full-time employees while working on current initiatives within our organization.
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Most internships are based in Pittsburgh, PA and are a 12-week, paid opportunity. It begins mid-May and ends early August. The project-driven program provides personal and professional opportunities as well as networking and social activities.
Program consist of:
- 12-week paid internship beginning in mid-May
- Project based work
- Q&A lunch with DLH Executives
- Intern outing
- Professional development programming
- Volunteer activities
- Individual presentation to senior leadership
Intern positions will be posted early in the fall semester. Interviews and the selection process will begin prior to winter break. Positions are offered over nearly all business units.
PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS:
- Candidates must have completed their sophomore year of a 4-year college/university program
- Participants will work full-time, 40 hours a week for a minimum of 12 weeks during the summer
- Successful completion of background check, drug screen (hair and urine) and social media screening
