Duquesne Light Company successfully completed the first procurement of energy supply for DSP VIII for our default service customers in the Residential, Small, and Medium and Large Commercial and Industrial classes. The winning bids for the Duquesne Light RFP have been finalized and approved by the PUC.

The winning bid for the 12 month supply for Residential and Lighting customers was $56.62/MWh.

The winning bid for the 24 month supply for Residential and Lighting customers was $52.05/MWh.

The winning bid for the 12 month supply for Small C&I customers was $53.02 /MWh.

The Large C&I default service customers will continue to have supply rates that are based on hourly day-head market energy prices. Customers also will be charged a pass through of PJM capacity and ancillary services costs as well as the administrative costs of providing hourly price service ("HPS").

The average winning bid for the Residential load was $46.12. The average winning bid for the Small C&I load was $45.25. The average winning bid for the Medium C&I load was $47.11. The next solicitation is in November of 2013.

The winning bids for the Duquesne Light RFP held on March 28, 2013 have been finalized and approved by the PUC. The solicitation was for default supply power for 50% of the full requirements service for the delivery period of June 1, 2013 through May 31, 2014 for Residential & Lighting customers, and 50% of the full requirements service for the delivery period of June 1, 2013 through November 30, 2013 for Small C&I customers. The average winning bid for the Residential load was $44.31. The average winning bid for the Small C&I load was $44.98. There is another solicitation on April 29, 2013 for Residential, Small C&I and Medium C&I customers.

The winning bids for the Duquesne Light RFP held on November 8, 2012 have been approved by the PUC. The solicitation was for 50% of the full requirements service for the period of December 1, 2012 through November 30, 2013 for Medium C&I customers (six tranches awarded). The average winning bid was $40.88/mwh. This was the last solicitation for POLR V.

The winning bids for the Duquesne Light RFP held on April 24, 2012 have been approved by the PUC. The solicitation was for 50% of the full requirements service for the period of June 1, 2012 through May 31, 2013 for Medium C&I customers (six tranches awarded) and 50% of the full requirements service for the period of June 1, 2012 through May 31, 2013 for Small C&I customers (two tranches awarded). The average winning bid for the Medium C & I customer RFP was $35.66/mwh. The average winning bid for the Small C & I customer RFP was $35.51/mwh.

The November 1, 2011 RFP for purchased power has been completed. For medium C & I customer load, six tranches (50% of the load) were awarded with an average winning bid price of $47.68/mwh. For small C & I customer load, two tranches (50% of the load) were awarded at an average winning price of $45.31/mwh.

The winning bids for the Duquesne Light RFP held on April 26, 2011 have been approved by the PUC. The average winning bid for the medium C & I customer RFP is $49.67/mwh. The average winning bid for the small C & I customer RFP is $49.50.

A solicitation was held on November 16, 2010 for the procurement of default supply wholesale power for 50% of the full requirements service for the delivery period January 1, 2011 through November 30, 2011 for Medium C&I customers, and 50% of the full requirements service for the delivery period January 1, 2011 through May 31, 2012 for Small C&I customers.
