Jessica Rock Named Duquesne Light’s Vice President of Communications and Corporate Citizenship
Will oversee Communications, Marketing, Digital, Community Outreach and More
PITTSBURGH – Duquesne Light Company today announced that Jessica Rock has been promoted to the position of Vice President Communications and Corporate Citizenship.
In this role, Rock will be responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight for internal and external communications, including establishing positive relations between the Company and its key constituents to advance business objectives through communications, community outreach, news media coverage, advertising and marketing, and grassroots support programs.
In addition, Rock will have oversight and development of the sustainability and corporate citizenship business plan.

Rock brings nearly 20 years of experience to this position. Before joining Duquesne Light in 2014, Rock was the Associate Director of Communications at the H.J. Heinz Company where she was responsible for leading external and internal communications for Heinz North America. Prior to that, she spent six years at Ketchum Public Relations developing and overseeing public relations programs for clients in the consumer packaged goods industry.
A Pittsburgh native, Rock holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications and Rhetoric from the University of Pittsburgh. In 2016, she was the recipient of a Women in Energy Leadership Award from the Pittsburgh Business Times. Rock, along with her husband and two step children, reside in Sewickley, PA.
