For the second year, Duquesne Light Company was the title sponsor of the Kennywood Holiday Lights event
Beyond supporting the annual family event, Duquesne Light organized a fundraiser inside the park to collect donations for holiday ornaments to support Dollar Energy Fund. Dollar Energy Fund provides utility assistance grants to limited-income families and individuals in the region who are in need during the cold winter months. Nearly 40 Duquesne Light employees volunteered during the Holiday Light’s event and collected donations for more than 400 ornaments. After the Duquesne Light Company match, nearly $5,000 was donated to Dollar Energy Fund.
Duquesne Light is a founding member of Dollar Energy Fund and will continue to support the organization through charitable and fundraising activities throughout the winter season.
