Duquesne Light has been named a winner of the 2017 Most Valuable Employers for Military recognition by RecruitMilitary, a national leader in helping employers connect with high-quality veteran talent. This honor was created in an effort to recognize employers whose recruiting, training and retention plans best serve military service members and veterans.

DLC continues its ongoing commitment to hiring military veterans through the Company’s veteran recruitment program, S.E.R.V.I.C.E. (Search, Engage, Recruit Veterans Into Civilian Employment). Duquesne Light also has held special events to honor the service of our veteran and active duty employees. The Company participates in numerous career fairs annually to recruit veterans who are seeking long-term careers.
This is the ninth year RecruitMilitary has given this recognition, and the first time DLC has been honored.
