If you want to submit a weather related claim, please be aware that Duquesne Light is not responsible for weather related damages.
Your claim will be forwarded to Duquesne Light's claims specialist. Within seven days, you will receive a letter confirming receipt of your claim. After an investigation to determine the cause of your damage, you will be notified regarding the status of your claim. Please note that the processing of a claim does not guarantee reimbursement for damages. If you choose to repair or replace your damaged items, please save the damaged items and your receipts. If you have food spoilage, please make a list of your items and then dispose of them properly.
