Beaver County YMCA

The Beaver County YMCA serves as a warming center and provides access to shower facilities and free food through the Food Locker program (advanced registration is required to receive an access code). All services are available during the YMCA’s operating hours.

Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank

Use the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank’s Find Food Guide or call 1-833-822-7627. A list of upcoming neighborhood distributions are available online.

United Way of Southwestern Pennsylvania

Access food, housing and other essential services by calling 211, texting your ZIP code to 898211 or through an online chat.

American Red Cross

The American Red Cross provides resources to help people prepare for and respond to emergencies. Download the Red Cross Emergency App for real-time alerts about severe weather and emergencies and order Free emergency preparedness education is also available, and customers can request a free smoke alarm or more information by calling 412‑263‑5278.

SNAP Benefits

Pennsylvania SNAP recipients who lose food due to a power outage or other household emergency can apply for replacement benefits through the PA Department of Human Services by submitting a replacement affidavit via COMPASS or the myCOMPASS PA app, or by contacting their County Assistance Office.
