Once enrolled:
If you sign up for our Paperless Program i) you will not receive a paper bill or letter communications via mail notification for any account(s) enrolled in this program, ii) your full electronic bill and letter communications will be available only via Duquesne Light's online account platform, and iii) any billing and letter information you receive via email will be abridged. Our Paperless Program is a free service giving you the power to view your bills and letters online. Once you enroll, you will no longer receive paper bills or letters in the mail. Instead, you will receive an email notification every time a new bill or letter is available to view. The bill email notification will provide you with your due date and amount due of the current bill. The bill email notification will also contain a link to access and manage the payment of your bill. We also provide you with a 12-month of bill history to make record-keeping easy. An email notification will provide you with a link to access your communications online. Keep in mind, you will have the ability to save, or print, your e-Bill and/or letters to your computer as part of your personal record keeping.
Wondering how to pay your bills as a Paperless customer? You will be able to schedule a no-fee payment and have the amount deducted from your checking or savings account. You can also sign up for our no-fee automatic bill payment program, AutoPay. If you are currently enrolled in AutoPay, you will see "DO NOT PAY. YOUR AUTOPAY PAYMENT OF {BALANCE} ELECTRICHECK WILL PROCESS ON {DATE}." You can be enrolled in both the Paperless Program and AutoPay.
