You can choose Duquesne Light Company (DLC) to supply your electricity.
DLC does not profit from supplying your electricity. If you do not enroll with an electric generation supplier, then DLC will supply your electricity by default.
If you are enrolled with an electric generation supplier and would like to switch to DLC, go to the Supplier Information section under Account Settings. NOTE: Be sure to contact your current supplier for information about the terms and conditions of your contract. There could be fees for terminating your agreement with your supplier.
Residential Customers
Customers who elect to purchase their electric supply from DLC will be charged according to the residential rates (RS, RH, and RA) as found in Rider No. 8 – Default Service Supply of the Company’s Retail Tariff. Additionally, if you select DLC to supply your electricity, the Company will provide and charge for transmission service. The Transmission Service Charges can be found in Appendix A of the Retail Tariff.
