The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) helps low-income households pay some energy costs associated with heating their home. LIHEAP is administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services (DHS). Check the below table to see if you and your family qualify. LIHEAP is available from November 4, 2024 until April 4, 2025.

Your household may be eligible for a discount on your energy bill and/or additional benefits, including debt forgiveness. Select the option to share your information with the DHS when you apply for LIHEAP to take advantage of more personalized support. Learn how your information is shared.
